Dr. Kamran Yazdi

I was awarded a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2002 in my native Iran, moved to the UK in 2006 and passed the IQE exam to re-qualify under local regulations. My postgraduate studies were completed here in London, a Diploma in Oral Dental Science and an MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital (UCL). I now practise at our Wimpole Street clinic in Marylebone.

My approach to every treatment is conservative: preserving as much natural tooth as possible. I also believe most dental problems have more than one solution. Every patient is unique, and it is your right to be informed and to choose the option that suits you. As your dentist, my role is to be a trusted adviser, but the final decision is always yours, made only once you are completely comfortable with it. I spend extra time during consultations to make sure you fully understand both the problem and the proposed solutions.

I know some people find dental visits stressful, so I work hard to build a friendly connection with my patients and keep every appointment as calm as possible. I also give patients my personal mobile number, so you can reach me at any time if you are in pain or worried about something.

Dentistry moves quickly, and we keep pace so patients can benefit from new developments. We use digital radiography to reduce x-ray exposure, 3D intra-oral scanning in place of uncomfortable impression materials, and a needle-free injection system to help patients with needle phobia. We also work with trusted specialists and technicians, using carefully selected materials throughout your treatment.
