Dr. Sam Parsno

Dr Sam Parsno BDS (Sweden), DipImpDent RCS (Eng.), MSc ImpDent URJC (Spain) trained with some of the leading figures in advanced implant dentistry, including Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark, and now practises at our Wimpole Street clinic in Marylebone.

Across more than 30 years of clinical practice, Dr Parsno has built comprehensive expertise in implant and advanced restorative dentistry. His formal implant training began at the Brånemark Implant Centre in Gothenburg, where he completed his postgraduate foundation course in Implant Dentistry in 2000. He went on to earn a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons (FGDP) in London in 2011, and a Master's degree in Implant Dentistry from Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid in 2016.

His career has included extensive postgraduate training across Europe, with advanced clinical experience gained in Sweden, Austria, Germany, Spain and the UK, an international background that shapes his refined approach to complex implant and cosmetic dental treatment.

Dr Parsno founded the London College of Oral Implantology (LCOI) and serves as its course director, delivering postgraduate implant training to dentists from the UK and abroad.

He graduated from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, one of Europe's leading dental universities and home to the Nobel Prize Assembly, ranked first in the world for dentistry in the 2019 QS World University Rankings.

Within the profession, Dr Parsno was a finalist for three UK dentistry awards across 2015 and 2016, reflecting the advanced level of training he has pursued in implant dentistry.

He currently acts as an implant mentor and lecturer at the London College of Oral Implantology (LCOI), supported by Nobel Biocare, and provides implant mentoring at practices throughout the UK.
