Three Infections, One Test
This test uses nucleic acid amplification technology (NAAT) to detect the DNA of three common STI pathogens from a single sample. Chlamydia and gonorrhoea are the two most diagnosed bacterial STIs in the UK, while Trichomonas vaginalis is the most common curable STI worldwide.
All three infections can be asymptomatic, particularly in women. When symptoms occur, they typically include abnormal discharge, discomfort during urination, or irritation. Prompt diagnosis enables targeted antibiotic treatment.
